Hanabi - named for the Japanese word for "fireworks" - is a cooperative game in which players work as a team try to create the perfect fireworks show. To do this, you have to put together fireworks (red, yellow, green, blue and white) by playing each individual colour in series (1 ⇨ 2 ⇨ 3 ⇨ 4 ⇨ 5). Sounds easy right?! You cannot see your own cards; you can only see the cards of your teammates.
To assist other players in playing a card, you must give them hints regarding the numbers or the colours of their cards. Players must act as a team to avoid errors and to finish the fireworks display before they run out of cards.
An extra suit of cards, rainbow coloured, is also provided for advanced or variant play.
Number of Players: 2-5. Playtime: 25 minutes. Ages: 8 years+
